11"H Ceramic Hand Carved Dragon Fly Vase

This charming Song Dynasty reproduction is wonderfully carved with maple leaf and dragon flies around the rim. Deep rich green metallic glazing adorns the background of this handmade art piece. Made of ceramic and kiln fired for years and years of enjoyment. We were able to locate a family run operation that made small quantities of this style of pottery in southern China. Its design and looks are not necessarily Asian, but more worldly -- this item could be confused with European origins. This item will complement any décor with its wonderful earth tones and fine carving.
