16" Chinese Antique Painted Red Floral Storage Box

Oxblood red Antique Chinese box is hand painted with bird and flower designs that symbolize nature’s harmony. This item is about 60-80 year old, and come from the northern China country side where Elmwood is grown. After they are collected we have them cleaned and restored to functional art pieces. A simple tear drop brass handle is on the front. The box is made of Elmwood, lacquered and gold line painted on a distressed original antique china red. This useful box offers an elegant Asian design statement to any room. Use on a table top, or use several and stack them for a visual statement.
