This simple Ming style 6" high hand painted porcelain ginger jar from China features an eye catching classic rosé medallion design. This ginger jar is painted in metallic gold with a number of bright beautiful colors such as reds, blues, pinks, greens, and oranges with a hand painted panel that features three geishas, flowers, and gilt in a wedding scene. The outside panels have symbolic scrolls, butterflies, flowers, and leaves. It’s a two piece set with lid and jar.
