This rare Elmwood Antique cabinet is from northern China, was purchased from a landowner, and was refinished by our antique restoration staff in China. The original condition is excellent. The unusually shaped sides are carved with peony flowers, and two small drawers above the carved sides. The center body of this cabinet included two drawers and two doors for storage. The center body is also carved with floral patterns and a water lily carved bottom apron. This cabinet is lacquered and finished with a coffee patina color and lighter wood grained highlights. This Oriental chest looks excellent in a room where wood tones with an Asian flair are desired. This chest has two doors, two mini drawers, and two drawers, and it's about 90-120 ten years old. It measures 42.5 inches Wide by 17.5 inches deep and 33 inches high, a nice size for a bathroom vanity, hall chest, or server. The finish is original and restored by hand rubbing coats of lacquer to build a deep finish. This collectible antique would make a fine addition to any home.
