Asian Carved Bird Nest Vase

Unique in its form, Asian Xhian ceramic sculpting has its traditional methods adapting to the taste of the west. This flower vase with its Asian crackle finish and use of Majorca styling makes it an art piece worthy of your collection. Hand carved bird nest with grape leaves and its water tight body make it a fine vessel for floral display or as a sculptural accent. The carving is of a bird family, two adult with 2 chicks are waiting for feeding time in the nest. The rich colors are used in a family of blues, greens and earth tones are all contrasted by the simple off white crackle body. This is imported by us from a small pottery studio in China and available in limited quantities.
