Porcelain Garden Stools: A Timeless Decor Accent
The evolution of interior design in the last decades has brought together elements of different cultures as an integral part of nowadays modern living. Western and Asian worlds coexist in harmony in the same room, creating a unique style that wants to tell its own story. While Chinese culture embraces a lot of classic furniture pieces, we would like to take a look at the evolution of the drum - shape and colorful little garden stool. These timeless additions come from the Ming Dynasty and have survived more than a millennium. Their form, color, and material has been reinterpreted to adapt perfectly to a more contemporary home. The blue and white version is the one that you will see more often, perhaps because it brings color and light at the same time to a room or because it can be the perfect addition that completes your blue and white porcelain collection. They are so versatile that they can complement a room or, in the case of a vintage piece old almost 70 years, it can be the main conversational object of the room. As garden stools, they do spend a lot of time inside the house, but sometimes they still go back to their origin, being playful and colorful garden stools that love to shine under the sun.
