Although it may be a small room – if compared to the living room or bedroom – a bathroom can be as decorated and furnished as any other within the house. We must do it with even more intelligence, calculating spaces, materials, and, of course, styles to use. Do not choose anonymous furniture from big retailers! Add a modern ceramic (or glass) sink to a vintage piece of furniture, and you will get a delightful effect. It can be a vintage altar chest, a work table, a low sideboard, or a piece of furniture from the late nineteenth century suitably treated to be inserted in the modern bathroom nowadays. Open your imagination and get away from the standards to which we are used to seeing, like a single bathroom mirror, generally round or rectangular. Instead what if we mix mirrors with vintage wall decor above a modern sink? The effect is full of character and out of the somewhat banal setting of the "default" bathroom furniture sets. Vintage chairs are perfect if you want to give your bathroom even more original touch. But not only that, they can be used to place neatly arranged sets of towels, perfumes, make-up, and soaps. For a more "bathroom" look, you can place the chair near the tub to make it even more useful!!
