Japanese style sitting Buddha, Kyoto style. Museum reproduction made of bronze with wooden art base in black lacquer. This pose, known as the Calming Buddha, develops serenity, and sees the Buddha deep in meditation, face forward, eyes closed, hands in the lap, and sitting in a double lotus pose, with both legs tucked under each other. Measures 12" by 11" by 15 inch high. Green patina finish for indoor use or outdoor use. Removable stand for outdoor use.
