This Chinese antique abacus is used for math, dovetailed joinery and original coloration make for a wonderful object. It is from northern China and is about 40 to 60 years old. We found these Chinese elm wood Abacus in the Chinese country side and had it restored by local craftsmen. No two are the same ,but all similar to the one in the photo.
