Chinese Antique Altar Table Dongyang 88"W

This rare Eighty-Eight Inch Chinese wooden carved antique altar table with two side drawers is hand-carved and painted in gold and red lacquer accents. A sizeable carved table with relief panels of Asian scenery with Buddhist symbolism. Made around the Qing dynasty, the condition is excellent. The delicate cut thru apron is on the front and the sides. Two carved drawers with brass pulls are on each side of this table. The table is solid Elmwood and restored in Shanghai, China then imported to us. The table can be used as a server, an altar table, or an accent when a focal piece is warranted. The clean lines of this detailed hand-carved piece will complement any large interior.
