Chinese Antique End Table Cabinet Natural Elm Color

This rare Chinese antique chest is from Northern China and is about 60- 80 years old. We found this Chinese elm wood cabinet in the countryside and had it restored by local carpentry artisans. Two doors and two drawers offer storage and go beautifully as an end table in a living room or den. This refinished cabinet has new large gun metal colored brass fixtures and is also polished with hand-rubbed lacquer that is water repellant. The semi gloss hand rubbed lacquer finish enhances the natural wood grain and golden color. The curved beveled top frame, curved side panels, and carved panel drawers are clean, simple lines with Chinese Ming style elements. Its dimensions are 27.5"W x 18"D x 21" H, perfect for sitting alongside a chair, couch, or sofa. Use in a bedroom as a nightstand or in the living room as a lamp table. It looks grand in a modern, rustic, or cottage interior.
