Chinese Antique Lidded Basket

This round Chinese antique basket is woven rattan. Hand painted details at base and woven pattern make one unique basket. It is from southern China and is about 40 to 60 years old We found this Chinese basket in the Chinese country side and had it restored by local craftsmen. Clean and simple lines with ming style elements it measures approx. 13" X 13 X  12 inches high. Use in a bedroom for clothing or in the living room as a storage box. Works in a modern, rustic or cottage interior. Refinished inside and out. No two are the same, but all similar to photo.
