Chinese Antique Painted Box

Rare Chinese Antique floral box is from northern, China and is about 80 years old We found this Chinese elm wood box in the Chinese country side and had it restored by local craftsmen. Refinished with new brass hardware ,this handsome red lacquer box is hand painted in a oriental floral design. Clean and simple lines it measures 18x11x11 inch high. Polished and restored inside and out. Has a lift top with dark elm wood interior. Used as a storage chest, great for CD's. Works in a modern, rustic or cottage interior. No two are the same although all are similar to the photo and we can send you photos of our current stock.
