Chinese Antique Trunk Carved Wood with Rattan Iron Hardware

This Chinese Antique weaved trunk was found in northern China and imported by us after being restored in Shanghai. Unique carvings on the wooden base with red lacquer highlights, iron hardware and wooden top create a neat Asian accent for any room. These Chinese hope chest are approximately 80 years old and are restored inside and out. They come with brass side handles and lockable brass hardware so they can be used for movable storage and travel. Solid pine with masterly woven rattan and iron handles makes a wonderful accent below a console table or stacked on an armorer. The simple features and worn antique patina work well in a modern interior. They make a chic coffee table when space and storage is an issue. Display it proudly in your living room.
