Chinese Porcelain Jar with Black Drip Glaze and Lion Handle Lid

This 15" high oriental porcelain jar from China features a black drip glaze with a removable lion lid handle. Imported by us from a family-run and award winning monochrome porcelain company in southern China, this handmade object is finished in antique drip glazing in a traditional Chinese black color. Drip finish is an organic and by chance glaze --no two are the same but all similar. Unusual glazing with tan, blue, cream, and black tones are all wrapped up into this classic jar.
