Chinese Red Carved Antique Cabinet with Drawers

This Chinese Antique storage chest was handmade of elmwood and lacquered in lipstick red with green accents on the carved borders. The drawers come carved with heavenly cloud shapes. We found this handsome piece in northern China and had it refinished by our staff in China. Deep wood carving and carved pencil moldings accent the legs. The two large drawers offer storage space and come with brass pulls. This collectible vintage chest is about 90-110 ten years old. It measures 39" by 16" by 33.5" inches high. The finish is original and restored by hand rubbing coats of lacquer to build a deep finish. Consider this Asian antique chest in your hallway, bedroom or living space.
