A rare vintage Chinese marble top table features an intricate hand carved rope design stretcher with an eternal coin carved lattice apron and a natural rare mountain marble top. The stretcher supports the elegant bentwood legs. The natural grain of the marble stone resembles a mountain top in natural white and grey marble. Rosewood is rare, and the rich woodgrain is enhanced with hand rubbed lacquers, layered to a semi gloss finish. Found and restored in China, we estimate its age as 80-100 years old; the carving and wood quality are rare commodities in this day and age. This table is expertly made and joined in traditional fine ming furniture techniques using tongue and groove joinery. Consider this fine piece of Asian furniture in your collection of unique items. We recommend this table in your library, entryway, or living room.
