This piece features four large carved rosewood drawers with long life handles for storage under the pulldown writing surface. Expertly carved double happiness symbols adorn the front of this desk with carved eternal Asian knots that frame the panels. This home desk is handmade using mortise and tenon construction, without nails, expertly joined for generations of use. The finish is hand applied with coats of water resistant lacquer to enhance the beautiful rosewood grain.
