Chinese Scroll Table Solid Elmwood

40" inches Chinese antique reproduction scroll table from northern china. This playful elm wood table was used in the rural parts of china as a writing table or eating table.  Made using solid wood and old Chinese wood joinery techniques. These reproductions are rare and measure 40"inches by 8" inches by 8" inches high.  They look great at the foot of a bed or couch, or in front of a picture window. They are finished in hand rubbed clear lacquer that is water resistant. Fit for cottage or contemporary setting you will find them pleasing to the eye. You will also marvel at the technique used to bend the solid wood into such a organic form.
