These Chinese antique artifacts are between 50 and 80 years old and have been carefully restored inside and out. Originally found in the countryside of northern China, they were refinished in Shanghai. Each piece is handmade from woods like pine and fir, joined with iron straps and traditional pegged construction. Farmers once used them as water buckets, since water would swell the wood and help make them watertight. Our collection is limited and features rare Chinese wooden containers. They work well as wastebaskets, magazine racks, or planter boxes. Their simple design and skilled craftsmanship make them a great addition to any cottage, rustic, or country-style home.
