life size sculpture is placed on a lotus pedestal and is a representation of Jizō who was an attendant escorting to paradise. One hand is holding a sacred flaming jewel which is broadly shows long life, health, prosperity and other benefits. In the other hand has grasped a ring sounding staff (shakujō). The overall polished bronze was inspired by a Buddhist sculptor Kaikei from the 13th century from the Kama Kura era.
