Four different floral still life patterns are painted and glazed on a white background panels with coral colored floral surround borders. The four floral patterns are symbolic of the four seasons, winter, spring, summer and fall. The temple lid has wild life and floral panels with coral colored borders. Pinks, yellow, white, green, brown and blue glazes are all in artistically used in this rare heirloom. This collectable jar makes an outstanding statement in any room and comes from the world renowned porcelain city of Jingdezhen that is famous for the quality of its porcelain. Porcelains from Jingdezhen are thickly glazed to the touch and made with dense porcelain clays that are also thick bodied.
