This wonderful handmade Jingdezhen vase is from northern China’s ancient porcelain capital.  Our vase has traditional Chinese famous yellow glazing in an interesting combination of colors on a rich yellow background. The glaze is thick to the touch. Yellow is treasured by Asian cultures and represents earth: Yellow is an imperial color representing power, royalty and prosperity in traditional Chinese color symbolism. Contrasting colors of Blue, Reds, Turquoise and Peach are used in a lively display of artistic authority.
