Japanese Tansu Double Sided Staircase Cabinet

Our large modular Japanese styled step Tansu cabinet comes finished on both sides and is designed to be arranged right or left. This staircase chest is a four piece set, including two step cabinets, one square cabinet, and a base. It is made of solid elm wood and finished in a honey mahogany stain with a lacquer finish. The sheen is semi shiny lacquer, a durable and water-repellent finish. Designed and created with twelve drawers, two sets of sliding panel doors, and one set of swing open doors. Unusual and unique, they are used separately as end tables, as a buffet, as an entertainment center, or to divide a room, create a pyramid or stack high as a dresser. This item is multi purposed. Enjoy its classical Asian styling with antiqued black iron hardware for a functional multipurpose chest. Use in a modern, traditional or cottage interior.
