King Size Zen Platform Bed

This bed is one of our in-house designs based on the simple relaxed look of many Asian styles. Chow leg, also known as banana legs are used with a simple lattice design that mimics the lattice work that is found in Asian building. We contracted our Shanghai work shop to hand craft this unique bed using solid Elm wood and Chinese traditional wood joinery techniques. The chestnut brown hand rubbed finish has a matt lacquer patina making it a very universal tone that can blend with other furniture styles. The headboard, foot board, baseboard, side rails and feet are all interlocking to make a very sturdy sleep foundation for a mattress. The low profile of 11"H plus your mattress makes for a very comfortable sitting height with a modern appeal.
