Rare Chinese Antique Chest of Drawers with Carved Florals

This prized Chinese antique hall chest is made of fine elm wood. The lovely wood grain is further enhanced with hand rubbed lacquers. We found this handsome piece in northern China and refinished in China in an antique restoration house. Deep wood carving and five drawers with floral and arabesque carvings create a real wonder of a chest.  This item has five drawers, carved winged sides, delicate carvings, and original Antique brass hardware. It is handmade and about 90-140 ten years old and ready to be used for another hundred years. It measures 40.5" Wide and is perfect for a hallway, dining area, or living room. The finish is original and restored by hand rubbing coats of lacquer to build a deep finish. This Chinese antique chest would make a fine addition to any home.
