Restored Wooden Chinese Cabinet in Ming Style

Restored in Shanghai, this cabinet has three large drawers, new brass hardware, four doors with a removable shelf. Simple Asian design, with lotus shaped carving on the doors and bottom apron, add a graceful touch to this simply Ming styled cabinet. About 100 year old and refurbished, this solid Elm Wood (Yu Mu) is a traditional item found in He Bei province China. A classy dark brown walnut with aged patina that is refinished with hand rubbed natural lacquer. Traditionally used for storage in a scholar’s room, you will find it just as useful as a buffet in the dining room, entertainment center in a living room or as a dresser. Again the size of this item makes it unique.
