This solid wooden 40" round Oriental dining table is available with one leaf and opens to 60 "wide. Hand carved of solid elmwood with a rosewood veneer and carved bird and flower detailing. This table has beautiful wood grain enhanced with hand rubbed lacquer coats that are applied to create a satin finish. This table can comfortably seat 4 when closed and up to six with one leaf. A protective lacquer finish is durable and water resistant for generations of use. This table is richly detailed, with hand carved floral and bird designs surrounding the sides with detailed pencil molding on the framing and legs. Simple Asian design adds to the table's elegance, and its classic design is used with modern or contemporary interior designs. This table is handmade by one of Hong Kong's oldest and finest makers. These rare solid wood dining sets are hand carved and made using century tried and tested dovetailing and finishing.
