This unusual vintage armoire from Hong Kong is about 40-60 years old. It is made of solid rosewood and is hand carved with fine detail. The lattice cut doors are carved with pencil details and backed with clear removable glass panels. Two drawers with butterfly brass hardware offer additional storage at the bottom of this tall Chinese Chinese cabinet. The removable shelving inside allows for a variety of uses. The cabinet design is a simple ming style that offers any interior a modern, elegant look. The warm, light honey rosewood finish works well with teak and maple wood colored interiors. This vintage piece is in excellent condition, like new, and refinished with a generous new clear satin lacquer finish that is hand-applied. The glass door cabinet measures 43" x 14" x 69 inches high.
