Shanxi antique 50 " wide elmwood painted buffet

50" wide Chinese antique four door Oriental cabinet, about 60 - 80 years old. It is hand painted bird and flower on original tomato red lacquer. There are hints of wood under-tones and the top is not painted red but instead with a clear coat of lacquer showing off the Elm wood that it is made of. This Chinese antique was found by us in Northern China. We had the item restored inside and out by our China craftsmen using old world restoration techniques and now it's a real charmer. It's made of solid elm wood, brass hardware, and comes with a shelves behind the doors. App. 50 inches by 18 inches by 34 inches high.
