Tibetan Chest of Drawers

Over 80 Years old this Medicine chest was found and purchased in Tibet. It was then transported to Shanghai where it was restored, cleaned and hand polished to bring out the aged colors and details. Used in Chinese apothecary as storage for Asian medicine. Each drawer has removable dividers and brass pulls. This chest is made from old world joinery and hardwood lumber with lacquer finish. Hand painted in lavish traditional Tibetan vanilla lacquer with under tones of rich elm wood. Constructed of solid elm wood and Chinese wood joinery it measures 30.5" X 20.5' X 53"high.
