Vintage Japanese Imari Porcelain Fish Bowl 16 Inch

Our vintage Japanese Imari planter is 16” wide at its widest. This is a rare porcelain and made by hand. Unique gold glazing with rich reds and blacks makes a eye pleasing wow item. The opening on this decorative fishbowl has an opening large enough for a large house plant, or use a glass top for a interesting table. Rich thick glazing with rare gold are layered glazes that are textured to the touch painting. Multiple geometric designs with Geisha panel painting on this porcelain make a great addition to your home. Fishbowls were used to collect and raise koi fish and are depicted inside this fishbowl. This porcelain watertight and serves indoors as well as outdoors on your patio, poolside, or garden.
